Fishing Intelligence
The first 2 hours after the tide turns incoming is the most productive fishing window in inshore saltwater — more than time of day, more than wind, more than anything else.
Bait floods the flats as fresh water rises — baitfish, shrimp, and crabs move up onto the grass
Predators follow the bait — redfish and trout position on flat edges and channel mouths
Fish are aggressive — they haven't fed since low tide and the current is just starting to move
Be in position BEFORE the tide turns. If low tide is 7am, launch by 6:30 and be on your first spot when the water starts moving.
