InshoreIQ is a free inshore fishing forecast tool that gives you everything you need to plan a great fishing trip — in one place. No subscriptions, no apps to download, no nonsense.

Enter your fishing location and get a complete forecast including real-time tides, wind and weather conditions, a solunar table, and a Bite Score — our proprietary 0–100 rating that tells you at a glance how good the fishing is likely to be that day.

• Tides — High and low tide times and heights, sourced from the nearest NOAA tide station. Visualized as a wave chart so you can see the full tidal swing at a glance.
• Wind & Weather — Current temperature, wind speed, wind direction, and sky conditions updated in real time.
• Solunar Table — Major and minor feeding periods calculated from moon transit and rise/set times. Anglers have relied on solunar theory for decades — for good reason.
• Bite Score — A 0–100 score combining tide direction, wind speed, solunar activity, and seasonal patterns. Fire Bite, Good, Fair, or Slow — know what you're walking into.
• Angler Intel — Species-specific tips based on the actual conditions: what to target, where to look, and what to throw.

We started in Jacksonville, Florida — one of the best inshore fisheries on the East Coast — and we're expanding coverage to every coastal city where fish are biting.

The Bite Score is calculated from four key factors that experienced anglers know affect feeding activity:

• Tide direction — Incoming tides push bait onto flats and structure, triggering feeding. Incoming = higher score.
• Wind speed — Calm conditions allow fish to hunt more effectively and make presentations easier. Under 10 mph = optimal.
• Solunar activity — Major lunar periods correlate with increased fish feeding activity. A major period on your fishing day is a significant score boost.
• Seasonal patterns — Peak seasons for target species factor into the baseline score.

The result is a single number that tells you whether to set your alarm early or sleep in.

We believe anglers deserve good information without a paywall. InshoreIQ's core forecast will always be free. We keep the lights on through non-intrusive advertising. A premium tier with advanced features — 7-day forecasts, saved spots, and trip alerts — is coming soon for anglers who want more.
